Commissioners
I included the greater Volcano area as well as the communities between Stainback Hwy and Hwy
11 as far toward Keaau as the numbers would allow. Because both Volcano and Kalapana were in
the same district, ignoring the mauka /makai preference, I did some shifting there too. Of course
these changes moved things around elsewhere - I tried to limit Hilo's north boundary to the
Wa i l u ku River. However, since I'm not as knowledgeable about the other districts I hope that
those commissioners will adjust any boundaries as needed.
