am writing to request that the Council Commission on redistricting not approve
Plan A as written. As a resident of the Hamakua coast I believe that our interests
should be considered independently of other districts and not be subject to the
needs or preferences of residents of Hilo, Puna or Kohala.
Unless the county is prepared to do without our tax dollars, I do not see how this
Plan can be justified (no taxation without representation).
