Subject: Urge rejection of Plan A
Aloha,
I am a resident of Paauilo Mauka in Hamakua. I strongly urge the rejection of Plan A as proposed by the
Redistricting Commission. Hamakua -North Hilo has a common economic and land use history. Splitting
it in two and "giving" each half to another community with different interests and priorities does my
community a great disservice. Please ensure that Council District 1 boundaries are close to those it
presently has.
