Subject: NO on PLAN A Yes on plan 40
Hawaii County Redistricting Commission,
I am a resident of Hamakua and I want you to vote NO on PLAN A. All of our brothers on the
Hamakua coast have a strong historical identity and we need a local representative to properly handle
our unique needs and concerns. I think it would be unfare and unjust to have representatives from Hilo
being our voice and encouraging decisions about the use of thousands of acres of Eucaliptus trees in our
district. Please don't give away our right to have our own voice. We our a family and a District don't
tear us apart. Food security and Energy security our important to our islands and the Hamakua District
has great potential as a district to contribute to those needs. The residence of Hamakua want to remain a
district I encourage you all to represent the people and VOTE NO ON PLAN A and vote yes on plan 40.
