Subject: Reject redistricting Plan A
Dear Commission Members,
I live between Waimea and Honoka'a and am in the current District 1. I resent the implications of Plan
A.
I urge you to reject Plan A. No matter how much it may be tweaked, it is still the wrong plan.
Hamakua Coast needs to have its own representation and not a shadow Hilo based board seat or a
west side member who has little obligation to a smaller island east coast population as the split in Plan
A would create.
