Subject: Hawaii Redistricting Commission
I am a resident of Honokaa (76 years) and disagree with the proposed Plan A.
The lifestyle and the issues here in this rural area differ vastly with the West side.
We need a representative that know the problems and issues here and able to cope and slove the
problems. Therefore, we need full time representation and not someone who will partially represent us.
For too long (back in my school days), we have become the step child of the County, whereas, the real
child where the more populace area. Again, with this plan of redistricting, we become the step child.
