Re: Fledistridrng Hamakua one into Two Parts,
To Hawaii County Redisfricfing Commission:
The Board of Directors of 1 he Honokaa Business Association is unanimously o p pos o d to
Plan A which would split the Hamnkua Zone in two. This would effectively give
Hamakua and Honokaa no voila on the Council.
We strongly recommend Community Plan 40 which would aiiow this important, historic
and well-populated area to have a voice on the County Council. We require fair and
equal representation for the people, community, and businesses of Hamakua.
