Eoff, Karen
From: KU Aloha [alohaland @gmail.com]
Sent: Thursday, November 03, 2011 9:34 AM
To: keoff@co.hawaii.hi.us
Subject: Neutralizing the Hamakua voters
That the Council would even consider Plan A shows a lack of respect for the people and for representative
government as a whole.
If Plan A or anything like it gets through this process, you can count on an organized movement aimed at
exposing the tactic of silencing the voice of Hamakua voters as an attempt to keep them out of the discussion
of future development on the Hamakua Coast. If members of the Council are not interested in facilitating the
connection of the wants and needs of the people to the agencies and legislation that should serve their best
interests, then those members should resign from the practice of self representative government.
Sincerely,
James Love
P.O. Box 1838
Honoka'a, HI
96727
COMM. 48.91
