Subject: Request for the Commission to vote agains Plan A for Hamakua
Dear Hawaii County Redistricting Commission,
I am writing to request that the Commission vote against Plan A or any other plans that will split the
Hamakua. As an urban planning student from UH, I helped communities on the Hamaaua Coast
facilitate their plans with county and state agencies. Through that experience, I feel that Hamakua needs
full representation on the County Council to address their unique planning needs.
