Aloha to the Redistrictiting Commission,
My name is Klaus Weinhold and I live in Waikoloa.
After reading all the different comments, I want to express my support for Plan B.
It is fair to our county population and their representation, in particular Districts 9 and 1.
It basically keeps both districts intact and it keeps our Community Development Plan intact and the
South Kohala Traffic Safety Commitee (SKTSC) would retain it's needed influence over this corridor
from Waimea to the sea.
In my conviction, Plan A would attach Waikoloa to North Kona and split Hamakua.
It is clearly unfair and regionally deficient by giving more influence to Hilo.
It is obvious, that Plan A would seriously affect the South Kohala CDP and the SKTSC. It would make
it more difficult for Waikoloa's interests to be fairly represented and people would feel all their
community planning efforts were for nought.
I have been unable to attend the hearings but I do want my voice heard!
I do appreciate all the hard work you have done and realize it has been a difficult task.
