Dear Karen:
I am the Secretary and board member of the Puako Community Association. Please advise
the Redistricting Commission that I, along with my husband Michael (also a PCA Board
Member) speak for all of Pualco. We want to remain with Waimea and North Kohala in the
same council district. We do not want to be part of North Kona as we have little in
common with Kona and a councilman from there would not serve us adequately. Many of
us in Puako have children that go to school in Waimea and many of us work in Waimea.
We like both Plan A and Plan B which leaves Puako in district 9.
