Thank you, Commissioners and especially all the people of Puna for
recognizing that Waikoloa has a real sense of place.
Stripping us from So. Kohala would have set backall the progress
we have made together, as well as hurt on a personal and emotional
level. We've lived together, survived disasters together, fought
together, and lost kama'aina - together.
On behalf of Malama Waikoloa Nightingales, I also thank you. And
they also thank you for adopting so many of our beautiful feral
donkeys into loving homes in the Puna area.
I want to let everyone know I will not forget the favor you have done
us, and look forwarding to heeding your call when you ask.
