HomeMy WebLinkAbout2011-06-02 WINDWARD TRANSCRIPT PD HILO ZONE MAP WINDWARD PLANNING COMMISSION COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I HEARING TRANSCRIPT JUNE 2, 2011 PLANNING DIRECTOR INITIATED A regularly advertised hearing on the Amendment to Chapter 25 (Zoning), relating to the City of Hilo Zone Map, Hilo Heights Subdivision was called to order at 12:58 p.m. in the County of Hawai‘i, Aupuni Center Conference Room, 101 Pauahi Street, Hilo, Hawai‘i, with Chairman Zendo Kern presiding. COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Zendo Kern, Dean Au, Takashi Domingo, Wallace Ishibashi, and Stephen Ono STAFF PRESENT: Julie Mecklenburg (Deputy Corporation Counsel), Phyllis Fujimoto (Staff Planner), and Jeff Darrow (Staff Planner). And six people from the public in attendance PLANNING DIRECTOR INITIATED Amendment to Chapter 25 (Zoning), Article 8, Section 25-8-33 of the Hawai‘i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended) relating to the City of Hilo Zone Map and regarding the relocation of a proposed 60-foot wide future road right-of-way between Akolea Road and Iwipolena Street to the st north to align with Haleloke Street in the vicinity of Hilo Heights Subdivision, Punahoa 1, South Hilo, Hawai‘i. KERN: Item No. 4, Planning Director initiated, I believe that that is continued. Is that right? DARROW: Continued. KERN: Continued. So Item No. 4 has been continued. Do we have to vote for a continuance LEITHEAD TODD: It’s on the agenda so if you can defer it. KERN: Okay, if I could get a motion to defer Item No. 4 on the agenda. AU: I make a motion to defer Item No. 4 on the agenda. KERN: Any second? ISHIBASHI: Second. KERN: Motion made and seconded. All in favor aye? COMMISSIONERS: Aye. 1 EXHIBIT C KERN: All opposed?
