ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
1. Minutes of Meeting of December 19, 2011.
2. Revise Schedule of SKCDP AC Meetings for Year 2012.
REPORTS
1. LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (10 minutes)
– Rosalind Newlon, SKCDP
Project Manager will report on Planning Dept. permits received in the previous month for
the South Kohala district.
2. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS AND UPDATES (30 minutes)
– SKCDP AC members will
report on the recent activities of the following subcommittees.
a) Puako – The Subcommittee will provide an update of the Puako Association Annual
Meeting scheduled for January 14, 2012 and the special report on the Humpback
Whale Sanctuary, a survey on reef use; concerns of recreational use of the Puako fire
break; and shoreline access signage.
b) Kawaihae – Update on progress of suggested amendments for the Kawaihae portion

c) Waikoloa – The Subcommittee will report on the emergency shelter; bus service;
and priorities for 2012.
d) Waimea – No report.
e) District-Wide Matters – The Subcommittee will provide an update on the current
progress being made on the potable water sources project.
NEW BUSINESS
3. REVIEW OF THE SUBCOMMITTEE PRIORITIES FOR 2012 (20 minutes) –
The SKCDP
AC will review the priorities for the subcommittees for 2012.
4. STRATEGIES FOR FILLING VACANCIES ON THE SKCDP AC (15 minutes)
– The
SKCDP AC will consider strategies for filling vacancies on the SKCDP AC.
