1)
SKCDP ACTION COMMITTEE VACANCY (5 minutes)
– Update on the status of the filling the
anticipated vacancy with the departure of Jeannie Palermo from the South Kohala CDP Action
Committee.
2)
LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (5 minutes)
– Allen Salavea, SKCDP Project Manager
will report on Planning Dept permits received in the previous month for the South Kohala district.
3)
LIASON REPORT FROM VARIOUS MEETINGS AND EVENTS ATTENDED IN THE PREVIOUS
MONTH (10 Minutes)
– Liaisons will report back to the SKCDP AC regarding the various meetings
and events attended in the previous month
4)
STATUS REPORT ON THE AD HOC PARKS COMMITTEE FOR WAIKOLOA VILLAGE (10
minutes)
– Ad Hoc report on the two-acre park proposed in Waikoloa’s affordable housing area.
5)
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT BUDGET DEVELOPMENT PROCESS (20 minutes) –
The
SKCDP AC will review CIP priorities from the SKCDP for development and proposal to the 2011-
2012 CIP budget

– SKCDP AC members will report on
the recent activities of the following subcommittees.
a) Puako
b) Kawaihae
c) Waimea

PROPOSED AMMENDMENTS TO THE SKCDP (20 minutes)
- consider soliciting community input
concerning possible recommendation of an amendment to the SKCDP to be submitted to county
Councilman Hoffmann clarifying the express prohibition against commercial and industrial uses in
ranching and farming areas and such other amendments as the community may support.

SKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE STRUCTURING AND ASSIGNMENTS (20 minutes)
– Discussion
on the SKCDP AC subcommittee structure and member assignments.

PROPOSED AC SELF EVALUATION of SKCDP AC (5 minutes)
– Chair Mike Fischer will
introduce and lead a brief discussion on this item.

SKCDP ANNUAL REPORT IN ACCORDANCE WITH OPERATING GUIDE V.c (5 minutes)

in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or
administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.” (Article
15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii County Code)
