APPROVAL OF MINUTES – February 9, 2010
REPORTS:
1) LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (10 minutes) –
Allen Salavea, SKCDP
Project Manager will report on Planning Dept permits received in South Kohala in
2009 up to the February 2010.
NEW BUSINESS:
SKCDP ACTION COMMITTEE VACANCY(10 minutes)
2) – Update on the status of
the current vacancy on the South Kohala CDP Action Committee and application
process.
REVIEW DRAFT OPERATING GUIDELINES FROM AMY SELF, DEPUTY

CORPORATION COUNSEL (10 minutes)
– Review document prepared for Kona
CDP and is being used as template for all Action Committees.

DISCUSS RETREAT TO DEVELOP MEETING MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE AND

COHESION AMONGST SKCDP ACTION COMMITTEE MEMBERS (20 minutes)
–
Discuss the need for a retreat for the SKCDP Action Committee to discuss meeting
management issues and develop group cohesion amongst committee members.
OLD BUSINESS
ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR (20 Minutes)
5)– Discussion on developing
a process and projected timeframe for electing an SKCDP AC Chairperson and
Vice-chairperson.
6) DETERMINE MEETING LOCATION AND ROTATION SCHEDULE OF THE
SKCDP ACTION COMMITTEE (20 Minutes)
– Discussion of the rotation of SKCDP
AC meetings between Waimea and Waikoloa and possible meeting locations.

Notice:

than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of

others to communicate with public officials.” (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii
