APPROVAL OF MINUTES
– Sept 27, 2010
PRESENTATIONS:
1) CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT BUDGET DEVELOPMENT PROCESS BY
COUNCILMAN PETE HOFFMANN (20 minutes)
– Councilman Pete Hoffmann will give
the SKCDP Action Committee an overview of how the Capital Improvement Budget is
developed in order to understand how current priorities for South Kohala can be placed on
future CIP budgets.
REPORTS
2) SKCDP ACTION COMMITTEE VACANCY (5 minutes)
– Update on the status of the
vacancy on the South Kohala CDP Action Committee.
3) LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (5 minutes)
– Allen Salavea, SKCDP Project
Manager will report on Planning Dept permits received in the previous month for the South
Kohala district.
4) LIASON REPORT FROM VARIOUS MEETINGS AND EVENTS ATTENDED IN THE
PREVIOUS MONTH (10 Minutes)
– Liaisons will report back to the SKCDP AC regarding
the various meetings and events attended in the previous month

5) STATUS REPORT ON THE DRAFT OPERATING GUIDELINES FROM AMY SELF,
DEPUTY CORPORATION COUNSEL (10 minutes)
– Awaiting response from Amy Self
regarding the guidelines that the SKCDP AC adopted on September 27, 2010.
6) STATUS REPORT ON THE AD HOC PARKS COMMITTEE FOR WAIKOLOA VILLAGE
(10 minutes)
– Ad Hoc report on the two-acre park proposed in Waikoloa’s affordable
housing area.
7) SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS AND UPDATES (20 minutes)
– SKCDP AC members will
report on the recent activities of the following subcommittees.
a) Puako
b) Kawaihae
c) Waimea
d) Waikoloa
e) District-Wide Matters
f) Subcommittee Assignments
NEW BUSINESS
8) DISCUSS DATE, TIME, AND LOCATION OF ANNUAL MEETING (20 minutes)
– Discuss
the date, time, location of the first annual meeting to be hosted by the SKCDP AC.
