APPROVAL OF MINUTES
– November 22, 2010
REPORTS
1) SKCDP ACTION COMMITTEE VACANCY (5 minutes)
– Update on the status of the filling
the anticipated vacancy with the departure of Jeannie Palermo from the South Kohala CDP
Action Committee.
2) LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (5 minutes)
– Allen Salavea, SKCDP Project
Manager will report on Planning Dept permits received in the previous month for the South
Kohala district.
3) LIASON REPORT FROM VARIOUS MEETINGS AND EVENTS ATTENDED IN THE
PREVIOUS MONTH (10 Minutes)
– Liaisons will report back to the SKCDP AC regarding
the various meetings and events attended in the previous month
4) STATUS REPORT ON THE DRAFT OPERATING GUIDELINES FROM AMY SELF,
DEPUTY CORPORATION COUNSEL (10 minutes)
– Awaiting response from Amy Self
regarding the guidelines that the SKCDP AC adopted on September 27, 2010.
5) STATUS REPORT ON THE AD HOC PARKS COMMITTEE FOR WAIKOLOA VILLAGE
(10 minutes)
– Ad Hoc report on the two-acre park proposed in Waikoloa’s affordable
housing area.

– SKCDP AC members will
report on the recent activities of the following subcommittees.

7) Election of Chair and Vice Chair (20 minutes)
– Nominate and vote on Chair and Vice
Chair for 2011 calendar year.

Hawaii County Code}. A lobbyist means “any individual engaged for pay or other

for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating
or urging others to communicate with public officials.” (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii
County Code)

soon as possible, but no later than five days prior to the meeting date, to arrange for
