STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS
ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
1. Minutes of Meeting of February 27, 2012.
REPORTS
1. LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (10 minutes) Rosalind Newlon, SKCDP
Project Manager will report on Planning Dept. permits received in the previous month for
the South Kohala district.
2. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS AND UPDATES (30 minutes) SKCDP AC members will
report on the recent activities of the following subcommittees.
a) Puako The Subcommittee will report on the Puako Community Association Board
Meeting of March 7, 2012; a meeting with Council Member Pete Hoffmann and a
representative of County Wastewater Division discussing the Capital Improvement
Project process for a study of the need and possible actions for waste water treatment
in Puako.
b) KawaihaeThe Subcommittee will provide an update on the concept to establish a
Kawaihae Harbor Task Force.

c) Waikoloa The Subcommittee will report on issues and policies affecting or relating to
the Waikoloa Village Plan section of the SKCDP and the duties of the action
committee.
d) Waimea The Subcommittee will provide a report on the Waimea Community
Association Design Review Committee and its efforts to update the Waimea Design
Plan with reference to the SKCDP.
e) District-Wide Matters The Subcommittee will provide an update on the current
progress being made on the potable water sources solutions project and their attempt
to gather data to present a compilation of water plans currently in place and approved
by various government agencies and private entities.
NEW BUSINESS
3. REVIEW OF EACH OF THE SUBCOMMITTEE PRIORITIES FOR 2012 (20 minutes)
The SKCDP AC will review the priorities for each of the subcommittees for 2012 to
incorporate into their work plans.
4. RECOMMEND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CIP) PRIORITIES FROM THE
SKCDP (20 minutes) The SKCDP AC will recommend CIP priorities from the SKCDP.
