3.APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM:
August 2, 2011.
4.NEW BUSINESS:
A.Approval of the Public Housing Agency (“PHA”) Plan for the Housing
Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program for the County of Hawai`i.
B.Approval of the County of Hawai`i’s 2012 Action Plan and Council
Resolution authorizing the mayor to execute and submit the 2012 Action Plan
to HUD.
C.Approval of an appropriation ordinance for the 2012 Community
Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) program.
D.Approval of an appropriation ordinance for the 2012 HOME Investment
Partnerships (“HOME”) Program.
Hawai’I County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer
E.Approval of amendments to Hawai`i County Code, Chapter 11, to provide
practicable parameters for satisfaction of an affordable housing requirement
by conveyance of land.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that pursuant to Hawai`i Revised Statutes (hereinafter “HRS”)
923.5, the Hawai`i County Council will be conducting this Committee meeting via
videoconference. Council members will be present at the following locations:
25 Aupuni Street, Suite 1402, Hilo Hawai`i 96720
Public Attendance via videoconference is available at the following locations until 4:30 PM or
later in the event public witness testimony has not been completed:
Kona Council Office at the West Hawai`i Civic Center,
74-5044 Ane Keahokalole Highway, Building A; and
Waimea Council Office at the Holomua Center
64-1067 Mamalahoa Highway, Suite C-5.
If for technical or other unanticipated circumstances the video connection cannot be made and/or
is disrupted, the scheduled meeting will continue.
Pursuant to Rule No. 13, Section 2 (c) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council
of the County of Hawai`i, “Each person may speak for three minutes subject to the discretion of
the Chairperson.”
