Minutes of Meeting of March 19, 2012 REPORTS 1. LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (10 minutes) – Terry Dunlap, SKCDP Project Manager will report on Planning Department permits received in the previous month for the South Kohala district. 2. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS AND UPDATES (30 minutes) – SKCDP AC members will report on the recent activities of the following subcommittees. a) Puako – The Puako subcommittee report will be: A report of the discussion with Department of Environmental Management, Waste Water Division, with the Puako Community Assoc. Board regarding the process for establishing a study for water treatment in Puako as recommended by the CDP. b) KawaihaeUpdate on the Kawaihae Sub-committee water solution issue. – c) Waikoloa – Subcommittee has no report d) Waimea – Subcommittee will report on the Waimea Design Plan Update Report on meeting with the Waimea Community Association. · Update on the Safety Committee Meeting · e) District-Wide Matters –The Sub-committee will provide an update on the current progress being made on the potable Water Resources Solutions Project. REVIEW OF EACH OF THE SUBCOMMITTEE PRIORITIES FOR 2012 (20 minutes) – The SKCDP AC will review the priorities for each of the subcommittees for 2012 to incorporate into their work plans. 4. RECOMMEND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CIP) PRIORITIES FROM THE SKCDP (20 minutes) - The SKCDP AC will recommend CIP priorities from the SKCDP. 5. DISCUSSION OF THE ACTION COMMITTEE TO CONDUCT MEETINGS ON A MONTHLY OR LESS FREQUENT SCHEDULE (15 minutes) Motion to amend frequency and schedule of meetings. 6. REPORT BY PLANNING DEPARTMENT ON POLICY FOR ACTION COMMITTEE WEBSITE (5 minutes) 7. DISCUSSION OF DISTRICT-WIDE POLICIES AND THEIR STATUS (20 minutes) The SKCDP AC will discuss Chapter 3 of the SKCDP, District-Wide Policies with recommendations for prioritizing.
