REPORTS:
1) LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (10 minutes) Report on Planning Department permits
received in North Kohala last month:
a. Rosalind Newlon, NKCDP Project Manager will present the report
2) REDISTRICTING REPORT (5 Minutes) Report on the proposed redistricting that is performed every
10 years after the census is completed.
a. Joe Carvalho, NKCDP Chair and Redistricting Commissioner will present the report.
NEW BUSINESS:

OPEN OCEAN FARMING AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO THE NKCDP (20 minutes) The Action
Committee will discuss whether the goal of the NKCDP to protect coastal resources includes the
potential siting of open ocean farming.
4) PROPOSALS FOR INCLUSION IN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CIP) BUDGET (20 minutes)
The NKCDP AC will review CIP priorities from the NKCDP for development and proposal to the 2011-
2012 CIP budget.

5) NKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (30 minutes) NKCDP AC members will report on the
recent activity of the subcommittees:
a. Growth Management
b. Public Access,

f. Agriculture.
