ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
1. Minutes of Meetings of May 9, 2011 and July 11, 2011
2. Review the Terms of NKCDP Action Committee Members
3. Recruitment of NKCDP AC Members
PRESENTATIONS
1) DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY (DWS) - (15 minutes) Milton Pavao, Manager Chief
Engineer and Kanani Aton, Public Information and Education Specialist from DWS will discuss the
North Kohala Well Project.
REPORTS
2) REDISTRICTING REPORT (5 Minutes) Report on the proposed redistricting that is performed
every 10 years after the census is completed.
3) LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (10 minutes) Rosalind Newlon, NKCDP Project Manager
will report on Planning Dept. permits received in the previous month for the North Kohala district.
NEW BUSINESS:
4) PROPOSALS FOR INCLUSION IN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CIP) BUDGET (20
minutes) The NKCDP AC will review CIP priorities from the NKCDP for development and proposal

to the 2011-2012 CIP budget. Bennett Mark, Planning Department Program Manager of the West
Hawaii office will review how the NKCDP AC Members can utilize the CIP process to further the
NKCDP.
5) SUBCOMMITTEE GOALS (15 minutes) The NKCDP AC will review the goals of the
Subcommittees.
OLD BUSINESS:
6) NKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (30 minutes) NKCDP AC members will report on the
recent activity of the subcommittees and include the goals and objectives template for 2011-2012:
a. Growth Management
b. Public Access,
c. Infrastructure A,
d. Infrastructure B,
e. Affordable Housing,
f. Agriculture.
