Minutes of Meetings of September 12, 2011, October 10, 2011 and November 14, 2011 2. Election of Chair and Vice Chair 3. Recruitment of NKCDP AC Members REPORTS 1) LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (10 minutes) – Rosalind Newlon, NKCDP Project Manager will report on Planning Dept. permits received in the previous month for the North Kohala district. NEW BUSINESS: 2) COMMUNITY MEETING FOR FIRST QUARTER OF 2012 (20 Minutes) – NKCDP AC members will discuss planning efforts for a community meeting to be scheduled for the first quarter of 2012. 3) COMMUNITY NOTIFICATION OF MEETINGS AND RELATED INFORMATION (15 Minutes) - The NKCDP AC will discuss potential sites in the District to post NKCDP AC agendas and related information. 4) PROPOSALS FOR INCLUSION IN CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CIP) BUDGET (20 minutes) – The NKCDP AC will review CIP priorities from the NKCDP for development and proposal to the 2012-2013 CIP budget. www.cohplanningdept.com Hawai`i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer planning@co.hawaii.hi.us OLD BUSINESS: 5) NKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (30 minutes) – NKCDP AC members will report on the recent activity of the subcommittees: a. Growth Management – The subcommittee will discuss farm dwelling permits, and two new subdivision applications for Lee Revocable Trust and James H. Sargent. b. Public Access – The subcommittee will report on the status of; Hapu’u, Kauhola Lighthouse purchase, Upolu Airport East of Runway, Upolu Airport Restoration, Coast Guard Road, Puakea Bay Ranch, Ranch at Puakea, Kaiholena South parcel, and Grant of easement documents c. Infrastructure A – The subcommittee will report on the Mahukona Park project and the Park management program. d. Infrastructure B – The subcommittee will provide updates on proposed routes for the electricity redundancy loop, rural infrastructure erosion prevention methods, and view plane protection. e. Affordable Housing – The subcommittee will provide updates on affordable housing; update on Catholic Charity; update on Kamakua Project; and update on partnership housing program. f. Agriculture – No Report.
