1. Minutes of Meeting of April 23, 2012
REPORTS
1. LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (10 minutes) Terry Dunlap, SKCDP Project
Manager will report on Planning Department permits received in the previous month for the
South Kohala district.
2. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS AND UPDATES (30 minutes) SKCDP AC members will
report on the recent activities of the following subcommittees.
a) Puako Subcommittee has no report
b) KawaihaeUpdate on the Kawaihae sub-committee water solution issue
c) Waikoloa The Waikoloa Community leadership council discussed bus service in
Waikoloa, the proposed northern extension of paniolo avenue and the
Proposed skate board park at the new Kamakoa facility.
d) Waimea Subcommittee will report on:
WCA: Anuenue playground: discussion with Sherm Warner

Waimea Design Plan: update on revision of the WDP & report of last

committee meeting.
Update on the status of the crosswalk with blinking lights project on
·
Kawaihae Road near Waimea Park.
e) District-Wide Matters The Sub-committee will provide an update on the current
progress being made on the potable Water Resources Solutions Project. This update

will focus on our efforts to gather viable data, compiling existing water plans currently in
place and approved by various government agencies and private entities
