PRESENTATION:
1) INTRODUCTION TO THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT’S GRAPHIC INFORMATION
SYSTEM (GIS) AND DATABASE (20 minutes) – Allen Salavea, NKCDP Project
Manager will to an introduction presentation of the Planning Department’s GIS
program to familiarize the AC with its use and the type of information is available in
the database.
REPORTS:
2) LAND USE PERMIT ACTICITY REPORT (10 minutes) – Allen Salavea, NKCDP
Project Manager will report on Planning Dept permits received in North Kohala last
month.

NEW BUSINESS:
3) DEVELOP 2010 IMPLEMENTATION WORK PLAN FOR NKCDP (20 minutes) –
Discuss developing an implementation work plan at the subcommittee level to define
the priorities and activities of the Action Committee for 2010.

OLD BUSINESS:
4)REVIEW DRAFT OPERATING GUIDELINES FOR NKCDP AC (10 minutes) – Review and
discuss for adoption the document prepared by Planning Department and Deputy
Corp Counsel Amy Self and revised by the NKCDP AC at January 2010 AC meeting.
5)
SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS AND UPDATES (20 minutes) – NKCDP AC members
will report on the recent activities of the following subcommittees.
a.
Growth Management
b.
Public Access
c.
Infrastructure
d.
Affordable Housing

Notice:
If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five days
of becoming a lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawaii County Code}. A lobbyist
means “any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spend more than five
hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to
influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to
communicate with public officials.” {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii County Code}

interpretation to access this meeting please contact the Planning Department at 961-8288
as soon as possible, but no later than five days prior to the meeting date, to arrange for
accommodations. “Other reasonable modification” refers to communication methods or
