PRESENTATION:
1) CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT BUDGET DEVELOPMENT PROCESS BY
COUNCILMAN PETE HOFFMAN (20 minutes) – Councilman Pete Hoffman will give
the NKCDP Action Committee an overview of how the Capital Improvement Budget is
developed in order to understand how current priorities for North Kohala can be
placed on future CIP budgets.
REPORTS:
2) LAND USE PERMIT ACTIVITY REPORT (10 minutes) – Allen Salavea, NKCDP
Project Manager will report on Planning Department permits received in North Kohala
last month.
OLD BUSINESS:
3)REVIEW OPERATING GUIDELINES FOR NKCDP AC (20 MINUTES) – Review and
discuss operating guidelines adopted by NKCDP AC and revised by Planning
Department and Deputy Corp Counsel Amy Self.

SUBCOMMITTEES AND PROJECT MANAGER (20 minutes) – Review
drafts of the 2010

hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to
influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to
communicate with public officials.” {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii County Code}
