2) REPORT ON OUTREACH AT KOHALA COUNTRY FAIR (10 minutes) – Report on the

NKCDP AC outreach activity at the Kohala Country Fair on October 2, 2010.
3) DEVELOP LIST OF CAPITOL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS (20 minutes) – Continue to
Develop a list of suggested North Kohala projects to be submitted for Capitol Improvement
Project listing.
a. CIP budget requests/suggestions should be submitted to the appropriate department
head via the Planning Director by Nov. 30.

4)REVIEW OPERATING GUIDELINES FOR NKCDP AC (20 MINUTES) – Review and discuss
operating guidelines adopted by NKCDP AC and revised by Planning Department and Deputy
Corp Counsel Amy Self.
5)PROPOSED NORTH KOHALA CDP WEBSITE (15 minutes) – Update on current status the North
Kohala CDP section of the COH CDP website.
a.Report on related web-sites.
6)2010 ANNUAL REPORT CONTAINING IMPLEMENTATION WORK PLANS DEVELOPED BY THE
SUBCOMMITTEES (20 minutes) – Review
draft Annual Report containing the 2010
Implementation Work Plans developed by the NKCDP AC subcommittee.
7)NKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (20 minutes) – NKCDP AC members will report on the
recent activity of the subcommittees:
a.
Growth Management,
b.
Public Access,
c.
Infrastructure,
d.,
Affordable Housing
e.Mahukona, Kapa’a Park, and Boat Ramp reports.
8)PROPOSED DESIGN OF COMMUNITY MEETING TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED FOR January
2011(20 minutes) – Giovanna will provide the NKCDP AC with the design and format for the
first annual community meeting sponsored by the AC.

than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to
influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with
public officials.” {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii County Code} Anyone who requires an
auxiliary aid or service, other reasonable modification, or language interpretation to access this
meeting please contact the Planning Department at 961-8288 as soon as possible, but no later than
five days prior to the meeting date, to arrange for accommodations. “Other reasonable modification”
refers to communication methods or devices for people with disabilities who are mentally and/or
physically challenged
