Manager will report on Planning Department permits received in the previous month for the
South Kohala district.
2. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS AND UPDATES (20 minutes)

C. District Wide Subcommittee Reports (15 Minutes)
1.
Hapuna Beach State Park Improvements and Old Puako Road Gating.
2.
Discussion that the County retains control over the road until the AC can better
assess the impact it could have on the district at large.
3.
Discussion on Ten-Year Moratorium --no fishing---from the shoreline at
Kaupulehu (Four Seasons Resort to north of Dr. Bakken's residence)
4.
Kawaihae Bypass Road in Waimea
NEW BUSINESS (30 Minutes)
1.
Continuity of CDP and subcommittees for new Action Committee Members
2.
Discussion of participation of AC members in Planning Department reviews of
applications to determine consistency with SKCDP.

efficiency.

Discussion on the potential Geothermal impact on Kawaihae

Proposed letter from Mike Fisher to corporation council regarding role of AC and the
