Meeting Notes
May 3, 2012 ( St. Augustine meeting Hall )
Present: Mgr. Lakme Nishie, Jack Hoyt, April Lee, and Collin Kaholo
Meeting: 6:30 pm.
What:
Resources and option to help prepare for Home Ownership.
Managing Finances: income, expenses, and credit.
Getting prepared to qualify for a mortgage.
How: Explain how to apply or establish credit and setup credit line, in the process for applying for any
types of Loans. Is a requirement for loan Application.
Credit Score Myth: Information pass on by friend or Family sometime can be a Myth. Not sure..! Check
with someone who can give you the right answer. Finances Counselor.
Credit Score Tips: Pay your bills on time, be current and stay current on payment, Keep low balances on
credit card or No.! Balance, Don't open new cards if you don't need it, re- establish your credit history if
you have had problems, Have credit cards —but manage them responsibly and closing an account
doesn't make go away.
Public Participant:
We had four individual who took part in discussion on the Committee presentation, in
preparation for the Home Owners Buyer's Education class. At present the committee will solicit, for
more Participant in support of Instructor in this community.
The numbers we have at the present time..! Must attend the classes in Kona, these class will start Friday
even and all day on Saturday. TBA
Our next Committee meeting is scheduled for Monday May 21, 2012 from 4:30 — 5:30 pm at the Senior
Center.
