Meeting Notes
February 20, 2012 (Old Courthouse 4:30pm)
Present: Jack Hoyt, April Lee, and Collin Kaholo
Call to order: 4:30pm
1. Catholic Charity: Monthly meeting were cancel for February. Catholic Charity is In support
of Education, for the young family economic reality check. Family supports, are needed for future home
owner, on affordable or self -help homes. To include rental units is one of their goals.
2. Self help: (Kamakua Project) This project is on schedule, and moving along very well in
support of the future Home owner. This project is in line with strategy 3.2: Self Help Housing
3. Affordable Housing: Committee is looking at family economic reality check education
program, to help anyone in purchasing their future homes. Education will give the family a boost in their
application status in support of self -help home and loans.
4. Partnership /Housing Program: Solicit North Kohala Resource Center, State and County
Government, Private Enterprise.
