Minutes of the Meeting of November 26, 2012. <br />REPORTS <br />1) <br />NKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (30 minutes) – NKCDP AC members will report on <br />the recent activity of the subcommittees: <br />a. Growth Management – The subcommittee will report on land use applications <br />submitted to the Planning Department. <br />b. Public Access – The subcommittee will provide an update on; Halelua - <br />State Land Legacy Commission December's meeting regarding partial funding for <br />agricultural and conservation easements; Puakea Bay Ranch - status of letter <br />regarding the coastal access trail;Kohala Kai - relocation of public access trail of the <br />historical Ala Loa trail;grant of easements update; and updates on the New Moon <br />property, Ainakea, and Pu'uepa. <br />a. Parks and Water Improvement – The subcommittee will provide an update on the <br />water systems project. <br />b. Power, View Planes and Erosion Control – The subcommittee will provide <br />updates on <br />proposed coordination of routes for the electricity reliability/redundancy loop for North <br />Kohala and transmission of geothermal power to Oahu, rural infrastructure erosion <br /> <br />prevention methods, and view plane protection <br />c.
