PERMIT ACTIVITY COMMENTS FROM ACTION COMMITTEE a. Review of submitted items (Margaret and John). 2. SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS AND UPDATES - SKCDP AC members willreport on the recent activities of the following subcommittees. a. Waikoloa (1) Subcommittee report discussing the shuttle bus service, the extension of Paniolo Avenue, library construction, proposed critical habitat designation, and a resolution from the Waikoloa Community Leadership Committee supporting the Action Committee and its commitment to the Waikoloa portion of the SK CDP as written without amendments. b. Kawaihae (1) Historic Corridor- update on the CIP (2) Consideration of inclusion in CIP budget of Kawaihae community center- update c. Puako No report this month. d. Special Report Anekona Ouli Kanehoa VFD Company (Guido Giacometti, president) todiscuss Fundraising efforts for construction of garage/storagefacility for firefighting Equipment of volunteer firefighters (10 minutes). Scheduling the locations for the 2013 meetings (dates were established last month) 2. Action committee communications with the public 3. Establish permanent procedure for review of submissions to planning department 4. Review structure of subcommittee organization 5. Status of new members of AC and review of term dates for each member (old and new) 6. Presentation of legal opinion (Bill Brilhante) 7. Follow up on items added to CIP by SK CDP AC (Waikoloa Village Community Center and Puako water treatment, etc. F. NEW BUSINESS 1. A sunshine law report from Margaret and Kit regarding a meeting between four AC members and 2 members of the Puna CDP AC. 2. Ask County Council for a budget (Kit) 3. Ask Corporation Counsel to assign different council for Action Committee than assigned to Planning Department (Kit) 4. Discuss changing name of Action Committee (Kit) 5. Training for AC members (old and new) 6. Review AC operation guidelines G. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS H.
