ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
1. Minutes of the Meeting of January 14, 2013.
REPORTS

NKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (30 minutes) NKCDP AC members will report on
the recent activity of the subcommittees:
a. Growth Management The subcommittee will report on land use applications
submitted to the Planning Department.
b. Public Access The subcommittee will provide an update on activities at: Hapuu-
Kapanaia; Halelua; Kauhola Lighthouse; and Upolu Airport Restoration. The
subcommittee will also provide an update on grant of easement documents and Old
Government roads and railroads.
a. Parks and Water Improvement The subcommittee will provide an update on the
water improvement project and their meetings held last month.
Power, View Planes and Erosion Control The subcommittee will provide

proposed coordination of routes for the electricity reliability/redundancy loop for North
Kohala, view plane protection, and rural infrastructure erosion prevention methods.
c. Affordable Housing The subcommittee will provide updates on affordable housing
and land.

DISCUSS PROCEDURE FOR NKCDP AC CORRESPONDENCE (10 Minutes) - The
NKCDP AC Members will discuss the procedures for preparing and sending
correspondence.

REVIEW 2013 IMPLEMENTATION WORK PLANS DEVELOPED BY THE NKCDP AC
SUBCOMMITTEES (10 Minutes) The NKCDP AC Members will review and discuss the
2013 Implementation work plans developed by the NKCDP AC Subcommittees.
