Re: Puna Community Development Plan Action Committee
Aloha Council Member Ford,
On behalf of the Action Committee of the Puna Community Development Plan I want to invite you to
attend our monthly meetings, held on the second Tuesday of the Month at 3:00pm at the Kea'au
Community Center.
The Puna Community Development Plan covers all of Puna, from Volcano to Kapoho, and the
northeast corner of Ka`u encompassing the Volcano Golf Course community. The Action Committee
is charged with facilitating implementation of the Plan and providing timely recommendations to the
County on priorities relating to the County operational budget and the CIP budget and program.
I have included here a copy of our 2013 Action Priority List. The Planning Department has already
sent you an up to date version of the Puna Community Development Plan. Our agenda and minutes
are posted on the Planning Department website at http: / /www.hawaiicountycdp.info /puna-
cdp /implementation/puna -cdp- action - committee.
We hope to see you, or a member of your staff, at as many of our meetings as you are able to attend. If
