4.NEW BUSINESS:
A. Approval of the Public Housing Agency (“PHA”) Plan for the Housing
Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program for the County of Hawai‘i.
B.Approval of the County of Hawai‘i’s 2013 Action Plan and Council
Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute and submit the 2013 Action Plan
to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the
State’s Hawai`i Housing Finance and Community Development Corporation
(HHFDC).
C.Approval of an Appropriation Ordinance for the 2013 Community
Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) program.
Hawai’i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer
D.Approval of a Resolution Authorizing the Exemption of Certain Code
Requirements, Pursuant to Section 201H-38 of the Hawai‘i Revised Statutes
for the Proposed Hilo Adult Day Center at Mohouli Heights Senior Housing
Program in South Hilo, Hawai‘i.

“any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any
month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to infulence legislative or
administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.”
