Notes from Growth Management Subcommittee Meeting April 1, 2013
Attendees:
Jim Pedersen, Jessie Wells, Jon Adams, Henry Sutton, and
Hermann Fernandez
We reviewed the latest draft of Growth Management Subcommittee Procedures
, and are waiting on the Planning Dept. to provide the list of permits
that will be forwarded to the Action Committee (AC) Chair for review.
Hermann reported on the last Action Committee meeting (3/11/13). He detailed
the controversy of the AC sending correspondence directly to third parties and
go through the
Planning Dept. Also, he reported on an
magazine, submitted by Toni Withington, describing the Corporation Counsel and
Planning Directorattitude and interpretation of the CDPs island-wide.
Finally, the group reviewed three final subdivision approvals for the Lee
Revocable Trust, Sennett, David, and Lot 40 Kohala Estates LLC, including
variance requirement documents and deed restrictions on variance from County
water requirements.
