Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes
(hereinafter "HRS") §92-3.5, the Salary Commission will be conducting
this meeting via videoconference. If audio stream between Kona and Hilo
is lost for more than a short period of time, the meeting will be
terminated. Commission Members will be present at the following
locations:
• Kona Council Room, West Hawaii Civic Center,
74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Bldg. A
(Pursuant to HRS, Sections 92-3.5 and 92-7 Salary Commission
Member George Handgis will be participating from the above location.)
• County Council Room, Hawaii County Building, 25 Aupuni Street,
First Floor, Room 1401
Public attendance via videoconference will be available at both of the
above locations.
Public attendance via videoconference is also available at the following
location until 4:30 p.m. or later in the event public witness testimony has
not been completed:
• Waimea Council Office, Holomua Center, 64-1067 Mamalahoa
Highway, Suite 5
If for technical or other unanticipated circumstances the video
connection regarding the Waimea Council Office cannot be made and/or
is disrupted, the scheduled meeting will continue.
If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk
within five days of becoming a lobbyist [Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b),
Hawai`i County Code]. A lobbyist means "any individual engaged for pay
or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or
$275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence
legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to
communicate with public officials." [Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (a)(6),
