AGENDA 10/23/13 CALL TO ORDER KONA CDP MEMBER INTRODUCTION STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC REGARDING ITEMS ON AGENDA ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS Minutes of the Meeting of September 25, 2013 1. Approval of Addendum and/or Supplemental Agenda (requires six (6) votes, and must 2. comply with HRS § 92-7(d) Discussion of revised letter to Judiciary concerning site selection and the effect of critical 3. habitat. BUSINESS OF COMMITTEE Action Committee will continue ongoing review of KCDP KCDP Implementation. 1. Goals, Policies and Actions & discuss roles & responsibilities. a. Planning Director to discuss five (5) year review of the Kona CDP. b. Discuss mission statement, goals and objectives for each sub-committee with approval of the action committee. c. Continue support for priority Capital Improvement Funding (CIP). According to the Operating Guidelines of the Kona Community Development Plan Action Committee, a person desiring to submit oral or written testimony shall indicate her/his name and whether the testimony is on her/his behalf or as a representative of an organization or individual. Written testimony shall be submitted with an original and nine copies prior to testifying. The Committee would appreciate timely submittal to the Planning Department at least one week prior to the hearing date to allow for mailing and thorough Committee review. If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawaii County Code}. A lobbyist means “any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spend more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.” {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii County Code}.
