AGENDA 02/26/14 CALL TO ORDER KONA CDP MEMBER INTRODUCTION STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC REGARDING ITEMS ON AGENDA ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS Minutes of the Meeting of January 29, 2014 1. Approval of Addendum and/or Supplemental Agenda (requires six (6) votes, and must 2. comply with HRS § 92-7 BUSINESS OF COMMITTEE Action Committee will continue ongoing review of KCDP KCDP Implementation. 1. Goals, Policies and Actions & discuss roles & responsibilities. a. Report from the two ad-hoc sub-committees on “Sections of Chapter 25 proposed for amendment” from the Planning Department. b. Discussion from AC members to prioritize their top 3 – 4 projects for the CIP. c. Discussion on street tree policies and possible meeting with DPW. d. sub-committee Action Plan which Land Use, Environmental & Cultural Resources provides updates on previous motions that have been approved; the current requests for information made to the Planning Department, the current discussion items and proposed future discussion items. Report on investigation on concurrency. - The Land Use, Environmental & Cultural Resources i. Open Space Network Sub-Committee will continue discussion with the Action Committee of the open space network plan format and content. e. Action Plan which provides Transportation and Public Facilities sub-committee updates on previous motions that have been approved; the current requests for information made to the various county departments for updates, current discussion items and proposed future discussion items. According to the Operating Guidelines of the Kona Community Development Plan Action Committee, a person desiring to submit oral or written testimony shall indicate her/his name and whether the testimony is on her/his behalf or as a representative of an organization or individual. Written testimony shall be submitted with an original and nine copies prior to testifying. The Committee would appreciate timely submittal to the Planning Department at least one week prior to the hearing date to allow for mailing and thorough Committee review. If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawaii County Code}. A lobbyist means “any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spend more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.” {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii County Code}.
