Fitzgerald <br />Deputy Director <br />Hilo's NAS Pool Closing for Repairs <br />The Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation will close <br />Hilo's NAS Swimming Pool from Monday, March 17, through Friday, <br />March 28, in order to perform necessary repair work. <br />The temporary closure is needed to replace a leaking mechanical <br />seal and worn bearings that are part of the pool's circulation system. <br />The Department of Parks and Recreation apologizes for any <br />inconvenience the shutdown may cause and thanks the public for its <br />understanding while the repairs are being made. <br />The NAS Swimming Pool is expected to reopen for public use on <br />Monday, March 31.
