Fitzgerald <br />Deputy Director <br />New Honoka`a Park Playground Opens March 25 <br />A blessing and dedication ceremony for Hawaii Island's newest <br />public playground will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, at <br />Honoka`a Park. <br />The public is invited to join Mayor Billy Kenoi, Hamakua <br />Councilwoman Valerie Poindexter and other dignitaries in opening <br />the new Honoka`a Park playground. Refreshments will be served. <br />Located next to the park's gymnasium, the playground features a <br />play area designed for children 2 to 5 years old and another for <br />bigger keiki between the ages of 5 and 12 years old. Multiple <br />slides, climbing rings, covered decks and a grass -like safety <br />surface comprise the playground's modular design. <br />William C.
