Hilo to Host Big Island Senior Line
Dance Roundup
Kupuna from around Hawaii will perform at the 13th Big Island Senior Line
Dance Roundup to be held Friday, June 6, at the Afook-Chinen Civic
Auditorium in Hilo.
The event starts at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Sponsored by the County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation's
Elderly Activities Division, this year's event is called "I Live to Dance."
Groups from Kona, Waimea, Hilo, Kea`au and Mountain View will join
visiting dancers from Oahu and Maui.
This year's event will again feature the popular "mass dance" that gives
audience members a chance to join in the fun.
