Hawaii Police Commission Meeting Agenda May 16, 2014 Page 2 (CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION AT APPROXIMATELY 10:30 A.M EXECUTIVE SESSION The commission will meet in executive session to consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities; to consider discipline and charges against officers or employees of the Hawaii Police Department; and to consider sensitive matters relating to public safety pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the Hawaii County Charter Section 13-20 (b). REQUEST FOR RECONSIDERATION OF COMPLAINT HPC 13-49: Complainant requests a reconsideration of the commission's decision that there was insufficient evidence of misconduct. INVESTIGATION AND DELIBERATION OF COMPLAINTS • HPC 14-01: Complainant alleged that an officer's report misrepresented the facts, belittled his complaint, and shielded the persons whom he complained about. HPC 14-03: Complainant alleged that during a traffic stop officers used forced on him, and later he found some of his money missing. STATUS REPORT OF REFERRED AND INTERNAL COMPLAINTS REQUEST FOR REPRESENTATION BY CORPORATION COUNSEL Correspondence 14-03: Officer Larry Flowers requests representation by Corporation Counsel in Civil No. 13-00546, Mitch Michino vs. Joshua Lewis, Larry Flowers.
