1.APPLICANTS: KENNETH OKAGI AND ERIN RENE (SPP-14-161)
Application for a Special Permit to allow the establishment of a 5-room Bed and Breakfast
operation within two existing dwellings situated on a 1.428-acre lot in the State Land Use
Agricultural District. The property is located along the northeast (mauka) side of Lower
Napo‘opo‘o Road (82-5856 Napo‘opo‘o Road), Kahauloaiki, South Kona, Hawai‘i,
TMK: 8-2-008:057.

2.APPLICANT: DIAMOND RESORTS INTERNATIONAL, INC. (Amend SMA 388)
(FORMERLY PACIFIC MONARCH RESORTS, INC)
Amendment to Condition No. 2 (time to complete construction) of Special Management Area
Use Permit No. 388, which was approved to allow the development of a commercial/
condominium complex and related improvements on 76,739 square feet of land. The
property is located on the makai side of Ali’i Drive bounded by Ali’i Drive and Kahakai
Road, south of Royal Kona Resort and north of Kona Reef Condominium, Pua‘a 3rd, North
Kona, Hawai‘i, TMK: 7-5-018:011.

3.INITIATOR, COUNTY COUNCIL (Bill No. 191)
An ordinance amending Chapter 25, Article 5, Division 14 of the Hawai‘i County Code 1983
(2005 Edition, as Amended) by allowing Village Commercial (CV) zoning district uses
within the Limited Industrial (ML) zoning district.

An ordinance amending Chapter 25, Article 5, Division 14 of the Hawai‘i County Code 1983
(2005 Edition, as Amended) by allowing Village Commercial (CV) zoning district uses
within the Industrial-Commercial Mixed Use (MCX) zoning district.
