Traffic Advisory - Kamehameha Avenue Traffic Pattern for June 22-23

TRAFFIC ADVISORY KAMEHAMEHA AVENUE PONAHAWAI STREET TO WAILOA BRIDGE The traffic pattern along Kamehameha Avenue at Pauahi Street Intersection will be changed, effective June 23, 2014 to allow for construction activities. From June 22 7:00 PM to June 23 5:00 AM, the contractor will be setting up the new traffic pattern. The contractor will be extending construction work zones at the Pauahi Street Intersection. East and west bound traffic will be allowed to proceed left, right, or straight from single lanes. Southbound traffic proceeding straight or turning right onto Kamehameha Avenue from the Hilo Bayfront Highway will be permitted only from the right lane. Southbound traffic turning left onto Kamehameha Avenue from the Hilo Bayfront Highway will be allowed only from the left lane. The County of Hawaii Department of Public Works and the contractor apologize for any inconvenience and request that all drivers use caution when traveling through the area.
