Dear Mr. Kanuha,
I am writing to you in advance of the meeting of the PCDP Action Committee meeting on
August 12, 2014 to express my full support for the Volcano Long Range Plan draft that will be
formally submitted then. As you probably know, It has been an ongoing effort over about the
last 2 decades and many Volcano residents have contributed to it and edited it. We believe we
now have a draft that pleases the majority of the residents and will help guide any future
development,or prevent some, as the case may be. That is what such a plan is for. Poorly
regulated development is a sure way to ruin the look and feel of a community.We live here in
Volcano because we like the way it is, and want to keep it something to be proud of.
We know there will be comments from your office on this draft since it is still a draft in
progress. Those suggestions will be much appreciated as a "reality check"for the next draft.
