NAS Swimming Pool to Remain Open October 30
Hilo's NAS Swimming Pool will remain open Thursday, October 30, and
operate according to normal schedules.
The Department of Parks and Recreation had announced it would close the
pool on October 30 so Hawaii Electric Light could install new utility poles
that service the swimming pool.
However, the electrical utility has since had to postpone that scheduled
work. A make-up date for the NAS upgrades and temporary closure will be
announced once it has been set.
