Hilo's Kuhio Kalaniana`ole Park Closing
December 29-31 for Landscaping Project
Hilo's Kuhio Kalaniana`ole Park will be closed Monday, December 29,
through Wednesday, December 31, so landscaping work may be
performed at the coastal park.
Kuhio Kalaniana`ole Park will reopen on Thursday, January 1, and operate
according to normal hours.
The Department of Parks and Recreation sends a special mahalo to
members of the East Hawaii Rotary Clubs for their continuing efforts to
further enhance the park. It also thanks park patrons and the general public
for their patience and understanding while upgrades are made to Kuhio
Kalaniana`ole Park.
