the Rules and Regulations of the Liquor Commission of the Department of
Liquor Control of the County of Hawai‘i, State of Hawai‘i, submits request to
amend conditions placed on its liquor license.
The following are the conditions imposed by the Liquor Commission at its
meeting held on October 2, 2003:
1. Maximum decibel level allowed from the following areas of the
licensed premises:
a. Huggo’s on the Rocks: 91 dbs from the area fronting the
band.
b. Huggo’s: 86 dbs from the area fronting the band.
2. That sound meters be used nightly, and should be calibrated
with the Department of Liquor Control’s sound meter.
3. That group meetings be held one to two times a month, as
coordinated by the Department of Liquor Control.
4. For Huggo’s on the Rocks, that amplified music cease at
11:00 P.M. (2014-09-04: Fridays and Saturdays extended to
12:00 Midnight).
5. For Huggo’s on the Rocks, that all business operations cease
by Midnight.
Licensee requests to amend and/or remove conditions #3, #4, and #5
placed on its liquor license.
VIII. New Business
1. Olu Kai, Ltd., dba Huggo’s

of the Rules and Regulations of the Liquor Commission of the Department

dated December 23, 2014, received on December 23, 2014, to temporarily
amend conditions placed on its liquor license on January 1, 2015.
Ratification of the temporary amendment requested by the Licensee,
approved by Administrative Officer Steve Morifuji on December 24, 2014:

until 1:00 A.M. on January 1, 2015 (for New Year’s Eve).

The following condition was imposed by the Liquor Commission at its
meeting held on May 7, 2009: The licensed premises shall close for
business at 9:00 P.M. daily.
Ratification of the temporary amendment requested by the Licensee,
approved by Director Gerald Takase on December 22, 2014:
